What’s the strangest Scented Candle?

If you’ve seen our Scented Candles page you’ll know we are big fans of the way they enhance the atmosphere of any room, in a way that fits with any occasion.  But that does not  mean we are fans of every single scent that’s available.  Here’s a top ten list of ones you might love, or might hate.

  1. Bacon: Definitely not one for the vegetarians and vegans, but the rest of us will love it!
  2. New Mac: A candle that supposedly smells like a freshly unboxed Apple Mac computer. Not for us.
  3. Freshly Signed Divorce Papers: I guess this is a way to relive such an event, if it makes you happy.  No need of this for us, yet!
  4. Leather-bound Book: For those who love the smell of an old library but don’t have the books to fill one.  Tempting!
  5. Gasoline: Some people love the smell of gasoline, and there’s a candle for them.  We prefer it mixed with the smell of hot oil, from a cooling motorbike.
  6. Sawdust: Ideal for those who love the scent of freshly cut wood.
  7. Freshly Mowed Grass: Some folks really love the scent of fresh cut grass, even when it’s in candle form.
  8. Wet Dog: Only real dog owners will want to relive the damp dog aroma.
  9. Chlorine Pool: A way to evoke memories of summertime swims, without needing to shower afterwards.
  10. Campfire: There are candles that try to replicate the smoky, woody scent of a campfire.  We like the idea.  Especially if it doesn’t stay in our hair for the next week!

But why is there no candle to recreate the unique smell of Marmite?
